Finally, after 9 months, we've begun to see something resembling teeth coming in on the bottom of Evan's mouth. For awhile there I thought he might just be gummin' it through his infancy...but alas! He has teeth and they HURT, trust me. So he's been sporting this new look for about 3 weeks, but we are now seeing four additional teeth coming in on the top. Maybe it's just me, but those two front teeth are looking mighty big. Is there a such thing as braces for an infant? Kidding...but not about their size. They are HUGE. He must've gotten that from Robert. :)

Upgrading Quickly
We've gone from 0-60 in just a couple of weeks. Evan took his first independent steps today. Luckily Robert and I were both there to witness this great milestone...or not so great depending on who has to chase him around...and that would be this gal. I'm breathing heavy already thinking about it. I'm sure it will be a couple more weeks before we actually see signs of walking with confidence, but you can be sure I'll be there bent forward to catch him every step of the way. And I wonder why I have chronic back pain...
